Ahhh ... back to the hectic lifestyle again ... it barely started and i already cannot wait for the next big break to come along ... i totally suck man =.= jc life jus totally drains me out =.=

and cuz of the H1N1 thingy all our lectures we have to sit accodingly to our "serial number" lolz ... when i heard the term i felt like a prisoner man ... what's worse is that the arrangement serves for easy contact tracing ... should anyone around 2 meters of me get H1N1 i will have to go on 7 day leave from school lei ... now confirm prisoner ... contact tracing !!!! OMG !!!

now we oso have to take our temperatures twice daily =.= nice ...

anyways for my class we got 2 new teachers !!! for our Math and Economics ... wah i tell u sia ... both the women are power houses man ... u can tell immediately when they step into the classroom that they r those kind u dun wanna mess with ...

geez ... there goes any form of slacking i had in mind :p

besides next week we are going to get back out mid-year results ...

A whirlwind kinda meetup with pple for 3 days :p

4th July – Saturday

Lunch at City Hall !!! haz tis boy ah … supposed to meet me dunno how long ago liao la … cuz I took his notes and was supposed to meet up again to exchange notes … but tis Yi Long keeps forgetting or I will be busy :p so we finally met up on my b’day for 1 ½ hours lor =.=

Oh … his nose quite big rite ??? so guess wat I got him …. MR NOSEY !!!! wahaha !!! he liked it though :p

Haz cuz i watching transformers part 2 later that evening so I decided to buy transformers 1 to refresh my memory :p but the I think the part 2 is much better :p

Anyways I went to meet my cousin at Harbour front for dinner at Breeks Café :p quite nice :p I thinki had some black pepper chicken ???

But cuz vivo dun have suitable movie timings for transformers we went to Plaza Sing instead :p

YAY !!! feels accomplished !!! watch both part 1 and 2 of transformers in a day !!! fantastic !!!

Haz my cousin oso got me a cap :p smth new huh ??? I ever wore caps cuz most caps kinda make my already small face look smaller ??? or make me look weird la :p

5th July – Sunday

Breakfast at Tiong Bahru !!! with Boon Heng !!! haz … tis friend of mine is not super sociable la :p and he was nice enough to ask me out on my b’day so met him for breakfast !!! and guess wad he got me !!! chocolates !!! I like !!!!

Lunch with my MISS CHATTERBOX club friends :p this grp of friends have always been there for me when I was in SPS … when-ever I needed to talk to someone, jus to get smth off my chest or to provide a listening ear … or to get the latest gossip in school … so it means we are always talking :p and it’s always at the top of our voices :p we treated the school’s corridors like our house like that :p

So to thank them :p I went to get not 1 but 4 MISS CHATTERBOX !!! yay !!! so we had lunch at Suntec City near the fountain of wealth :p

Haz decide to meet up with farhan and Donald to study together :p actually intended to do it at someone’s house be then decided it would be more convenient to meet in town so decided to meet at the esplanade’s library :p quite a cool place to study at la …

So we had a nice long breakfast at burger king and I noticed BK serve damn nice breakfast can ??? super long never try their porridge and they got the new twister !!! ILIKE !!! :p

Yeah … cuz we study like super long so we oso indulged in our lunch a little la … gosh too much sinful food in 1 day … geez …

But then always got some stupid pple tt will spoil ur day one … cuz we left the library for lunch so when we came back our table was taken so we had to find an alternative place in the library to study and we spotted the couch but this one-of-a-kind-fat-ass leaned on it like it was his house like tat … super inconsiderate and rude … extremely bad mannered middle aged grown man … to confirm my assumptions I have included a photo for all to judge …

Wahaha !!! I got a pair of Jolin Tsai “concert tickets” and it happened to fall on Thursday nite =.= alamak sia … in the morning I got my GP paper and my NE quiz mid-years lei …

Usually if it falls within my exam dates I wun go out liao … but its … JOLIN TSAI !!! nobody says no to her !!! :p

THURSDAY

So I super chiong all my revision !!! and I study damn hard la =.= aiya but cuz I so smart so the paper was a breeze la :p the GP question that I attempted was smth like erm “To what extent has the media taken away our privacy. Discuss ” wahaha !!! I wrote lotsa stuff including the Britney saga, Edison’s sex scandal and those giving away their privacy through blogs and whatnot and also the “eye in the sky” :p coolness !!!

oh … but my NE quiz kinda sucked … it testedmore on general knowledge and current affairs la :p and I kinda suck at that so …

AND THE NIGHT CAME !!! and it was concert time !!! WE GOT CHEATED !!! alamak I went with my cousin and we thought it was goanna be like a real concert ??? but it was not !!! it was supposed to start at 8 but the whole thing only started at 8.30 !!!

sigh … then the whole thing abruptly ended at 9.15 !!! alamak !!! I think she sang only like 5 songs ??? no change of clothes and actually in btw we spent 15 minutes or more doing games ??? aiya so a little disappointing la …

I wanted to go for supper but in the end never cuz my cousin was on a diet =.= so we went home relatively early and I got home at 10 … still got time to study for the Geo paper on Friday :p

FRIDAY

But the worse thing is I study like damn hard and still nothing registered …

I even left a 7 mark question blank cuz I had not time and cuz I dunno how to do oso =.=

dammit !!! argh … but this is the first time that I did not feel anything when I did not complete my paper … sigh … guess after failing my A- Maths consistently in sec 4 it kinda takes a toll on u huh ???

ok la got feel a bit of pain la … argh the pain …

BUT ALLSWELL !!! :p *pun included* when the paper ended I went out to have lunch with my friend :p wahaha !!! all the exam blues forgotten !!! our exams ended at 4 by the time we finished lunch at orchard it was bout 5.15 liao la …

aiya wasted we wanted to go watch a movie one la but then not enough time … cuz we got a lit play to attend !!! and it starts at 8 !!! so wad to do … we went to buy some jap stuff from some jap store and play tic-tac-toe and Pictionary lor :p but we had fun man !!!

Alamak … we were supposed to be at the play at 8 but then when we reached the Clark Quay Mrt station we spotted our classmates and waited for them then we missed the first part of the play …

what’s worse is the sitting arrangement ??? screwed … BIG time… and then the crowd at the theatre was not corporative too :p kena from the person in charge :p talk and laugh too much …

BUT !!! the day was not over for me man !!! I have a LIFE !!! so when it ended at bout 10.10 I went with another friend to watch TERMINATOOOOOOOOOOOOR SALVATION !!! nice nice nice man !!! :p

lucky me got pple to check e movie timings for me :p the day ended at around for me :p

I live at Farrer Park la ... the worse thing is that i had to attend the same briefing twice !!!

once for the facilators (us) and the other for the participants (secondary and primary students)

sigh ... at first i signed up cuz of the CIP hours ~it's a whole day affair lei so bound to be able to clock up a lot of hours ba ??? no ???~

anyways ... the breifing was simply to let us know more about the event ... specifically i did not think it was very informative...

As facils we are supposed to know more details than the participants ??? no ???

I realised that i am actually a person who's very afraid of - feelings - in particular ...

I - know - for sure that i do not want to be seriously attached to something/someone because i know that the higher my hopes the harder I fall ...

I know of people who spend one helluva time trying to get over a breakup and that period affects not only themseleves but also people around them ... besides i dun wanna even know how they tide over that period ... painful process huh ?

I do not see things the positive way like many others who do and get attached ... I tend to view it in a rather negative light ...

I was over at one of my classmate's place for a econs project and she had a really cute dog that was 7 years old ... however when I caught wind that that breed of dog only had an average lifespan of 12 years ... I said : "oh, means only 5 more years to go ..." of course i don't mean to be mean or insensitive but it really did come across to me that the dog was going to live for ONLY another 5 more years and then ... yeah u get it ... I don't wanna come across as mean ya noe ???

It's really hard to get me to open up and for someone to be considered a "close" friend of mine ... haz ... that person must have either went through a lot with me or "click-ed" with me at our first encounter ... it not haha ... the furthest our relationship would go would be at - FRIENDS -

Hey peeps !!!

Today IS Sunday !!! wahaha !!! some people hate it some people love it !!!

BUT for me it’s a Love Hate relationship ... Why ??? Simple ... cuz i like it and like it at the same time :p

Haz cuz on Sunday i get to do what i want ... but usually it’s just hanging out with my friends and family ...

BUT today ... this particular Sunday i experienced many things ...

In the morning i went to my aunt’s place to help her settle some stuff and have breakfast ... i know ... some of u think it’s mundane and not worth blogging about but how many of u ... do ... and actually can take time out of your busy schedules for ur closed ones ???

So yeah the breakfast meant a lot to me :p

Anyways ... cuz i still had time before i met my cousin at 2.30st city hall, i lazed around at Sengkang’s LIBRARY ... super ... waste my time at the library ... but truth is that i still had some unfinished business to attend to ... that’s my school homework :P yeah ...

~my Maths tutorial, my Chinese passages and my Econs essay ~ yeah... there goes my break on Monday ... and i have to hit the library ... AGAIN ...

But anyways i managed to complete a couple of maths questions before i left the library ... and hardworking my continued on my way to City Hall in the ... MRT ...

Anyways ... meeting m cousin cuz i was going to have Weekend Tea with her before going for Slumdog Millionaire :p

Heard it’s a damn nice show and makes us ~feel good~ so yeah ...

But a rude shock was coming our way ... Pple ... i dun always go for tea like those super ~eng and rich~ tai tais ... so if i am going ... it means 2 things ... 1 – it’s someone’s treat ... 2 – got free coupons/vouchers and in this case it’s the latter :p

After having our Tea ... when the time came for payment ... i took out my coupon and ... they say cannot use !!! So we had to pay !!! and the worse thing is that the main reason why we had to pay was cuz it’s their fault !!!

On the coupon it says VENUE 1 with a no. But when i called, the person on the line said i could use it to make a reservation at VENUE 2, even after i specified and mentioned that the voucher mentioned VENUE 1 – ONLY ... the person on the line once again assured me that it was OK to do so and put me across to VENUE 2 to make a reservation ... so i did ... and after the meal ... people at VENUE 2 say cannot !!!!! alamak !!! but still i managed to make MY POINT and they say they will get back to me ...

BUT u see ... the meal started at 4.30 to 5.30 ... and my SHOW starts at 5.55 pm !!! we were at city hall ... the cinema’s at Plaza Sing ... So by the time we were finished making our case it was already 5.55pm! which effectively means we ARE LATE !!!

Lucky we bought our tickets liao ... BUT to make things worse it was raining !!! lolz ... life sucks man ... so we ran from VENUE 2 all the way to the MRT ... GOT WET ... and then took the train to PS ... and then run all the way up ~my cousin was in heels and i was not used to running in formal shoes~ BUT we still made it in time :p

As the title suggests ... I am signing up for NYAA - National Youth Achievement Award ...

I dunno why I suddenly so enthu about it ... BUT !!! almost my whole class is signing up for it la so i guess i might as well do it oso lor ... BUT !!! i signed up for GOLD AWARD lei !!! not Silver !!! not Bronze u know ??? like super stressful la ??? ~it cost me S$17 lolz~

but i was telling myself .. go for it !!! and chiong for my 2 years in CJC and have some achievements !!!

U wanna know why i say it's so ~siong~ ??? Check out the requirements ...

Skills - At least 18 months ... which means u must take part in smth that requires REAL SKILLS like cookery, drawing, chess, gardening etc ... All CCA's like clubs and society and performing arts are consdered ... ~So lucky me I am in CCS so no worries :p~
Sports - 40 hours over at least 12 weeks ... OMG !!! how do i achieve this la ??? damn worried man !!! i am soooooooooo not good in any aspects of Sports !!! ~ALL u pple out there ... u know i have lousy hand and eye coordination hor ???~ damn it ...
Service - 60 hours over 12 months ... service to the school !!! service to the community ??? sai man !!! where got so much time to do it sia ??? pple ... ~start worrying for me ... like ... now ...~
Adventure Camp - For gold award pple must go for the 4D3N camp organised by the school ... this i heard is quite fun one la ... smth like outward bound thingy where u spend all the time in the outdoors :p yay !!! BUT !!! it's physically demanding ... lolz ...
Reidential Project - This means OCIP - Overseas Community Involvement Project. the best thing about this is that the school is goanna give us a guideline bout the requirements and the whole class will have to get together and then PLAN the trip ...

BUT !!! nothing can ~nan dao wo~ !!! wahahaha !!!

So did my research on the net, called the organisers and finalised it ...

For the sports thingy rite ??? me and my friend sighed up for ballroom dancing that the school offered !!! yay !!! and guess what !!! it's a 12 hour programme !!!! that's like a quarter of my requirements la !!! but !!! lo and behold !!! there's always a down side to it, we must pay S$40 for it ... lolz ...

SO... wish me luck pple ... no more weekends left in March ... is u r thinking of asking me out :p

Hello pple !!!

Today my friend ~aka damn close friend~ formally announced to the class that she will be leaving in the middle of school term ... most slightly by the end of March ...

Her father is in the Air Force and has been posted to the US to work and the whole family is tagging along ... psst ~~~ even the dog is going too ~~~

me damn sad la .. cuz she is the first person that i really really clicked with in my entire class of 22 people =.= and she's leaving ...

anyways ... first things first ... cuz she was my HTC ~Home Tuititorial Counsellor~ aka Monitor and since she is leaving my Home tutor has requested that we find a replacement - through a vote.

and after the whole class has submitted their slips ~ur vote is secret :)~ the teachers counted and ... my whole class elected ME !!!! YAY !!!

i was super surprised that they even considered me ... but to pen down my name and nominate me ??? wah ... that totally blew my mind away ... i was caught off guard when my teacher said it was me ...

so ... with great power comes great responsiblilty ... so i was put in charge of the class and had to take over all e admin stuff =.= lolz ...

oh 1 more thing !!! i hit e GYM today !!! yay !!! was a good workout la .. although i lasted only bout an hour ... heh heh :p

Hey Peeps !!!

Today i finally got my CONFIRMED timetable !!! and the worst thing is that i have PE twice a week !!!

Shit man !!! now that the school year has officially started ... i noticed that in the new timetable a typical day in school lasts till about 4 or 5pm in the evening !!! SUPER NO LIFE MAN !!!

Damn sad =.= Lucky the CCA that i join is damn slack ...

i join Chinese Cultural Society and only got meetings once a week on thurs ... besides i even landed myself a role in an upcoming Chinese drama that my CCA is going to put up for SYF ~S’pore Youth Festival~ yay !!! jus hope i can suppress my stage fright and deliver my lines successfully ;p

but anyways !!! today i tried smth new !!!

I wore contacts for the first time !!! yeah ... cuz i didn’t wanna have my spects on during PE.

So ...

Yeah !!! and when i wore it pple say i look much younger and more “shuai” lei !!! :p

But i realised that my vision would be a bit more blur as compared to wearing spects cuz i got astigmatism ...

and my eyes got a tired very easily and a little dry by the end of the day... :(

First Week in CJC !!!!

Dearest Peeps,

my first week in CJC has just ended ... but it feels like it had just started ...

everything that has happened feels like a surreal dream to me right now ... even as i am typing this i still cannot believe that i have subjected my self to such "treatment" for the next 2 years ...

in the first week i experienced what's called a REAL lecture and tutorial ... in a lecture all the students will cram into 1 big lecture hall and then there will be a teacher that will kick start a particular topic in the subject ...

the lecture will end with homework that is supposed to be completed by the next tutorial ... so yeah ... in tutorials we go through the work allocated ... and then the whole routine starts again ...

over and over the whole process takes place ... multiple times for the various subjects... it’s supposed to prepare us for uni ... but i fell the whole cycle is not very productive and i feel ... feel so ... so ... jaded ...

everything is just so different from secondary school ... u are suddenly thrown into so many things that u are unsure of ~but have to make sense of~ in such a short period of time ...

i jus cannot adapt to it ... everything feels so surreal ... the environment ...the friends... the CCAs ... the .... EVERYTHING !!!

in a JC u dun have much time to bond with ur classmates ... yeah sure u talk to them... u have lunch together ... u laugh at jokes together ... u do stuff together... but the feeling is jus not the same anymore ...

in JC at most u become acquaintances ... at best u become good buddies ... but to get to the stage of ... “zhi ji” ~means super close~ is close to impossible ...

i’ve not come to the stage where i regret my decision to sign up to a JC yet ... and i sincerely hope that day never comes ...

haz on a lighter note ... it’s good to be in a JC cuz there’s Valentine’s Day !!! and u get gifts !!! wahaha !!! i got a couple from my classmates and some of them i thought were really sweet ...

oh ... and i still have not officially joined a CCA yet ...

Orientation Finale on Sat !

wahaha ! as usual all good things must come to an end ...

so the orientation had to come to a close on Sat and very soon we would have to immerse ourselves in the hectic lives of junior college =.=

anyways the orientation ended in the evening with all of us back into our origional orientation groups and into our respective houses ... mine is ZEUS !!!!

so we had lots of cheering going on in the Audi ... where all the six houses each putting up a mini skit and also decorating their house banners ...

we finally ended the camp with a Mass Dance and a short clip of the whole orientation activities ...

haz but the night was still young and me IG and I decided to hop over the Orchard to have dinner at Pastamania !!! all 17 of us ... quite a crowd huh ?

Day 1

it's more of the usual ice breakers and there was a talk by the principal himself on the various different subjects the the JC is offering ... was to give us a better idea of what the subject was b4 signing up ... cuz they offering a couple of new subjects ...

oh we were oso introduced to the various houses in a refreshing manner ... all their houses are named after ancient Greek Gods like Appolo and Zeus etc so CJC had e "Gods" perform a skit before annuncing which IG was in which house ... Mine's in Zeus ! WAY TO GO ! ZAP U !!!!!!

Day 2

had a lot of games int eh field that helped in the bonding of me and my team mates la ...

oh btw i'm in IG 32 ... Super cool grp ;0

We played games like :

Twister - there will be coloured starched plates on the ground and e grp ahs to put e various body parts that are required onto each colour plates ... urgh .. must get down and dirty one ...
Dodgeball - 2 grps will play and each must aim to hit each other with a wet ball
Chair - players must sit on every chair in the row before meeting e other player and play scissors, paper, stone. can only proceed if u win ... e chairs are wet with coloured starch ...
Dog and Card - 2 grps will play and members must number off themseleves ... when their number is called they must run to the middle where there is a box full of cards and pick the card that the game master called out. point can only be obtained if the member returns to his team without getting tapped
Clue Chase - basically a gd knowledge of the school is required ... clues in pictioral form is given and teams must go round e school ...

oh ... Subject combi registeration is today oso ... So is the CCA selection ... we oso did a learning techniques questionare :)

Moi signed up for Chinese Cultural Society and ... Dance ;p

Day 3

Learnt the traditional mass dance

Also got accquainted with the house cheers and also the CJC cheers which will come into use when we support our school in inter school competitions :)

Played more ~dirty~ games ;p

this time we had to complete a couple of obstacle courses b4 we were allowed to call it a day.

First up was a ball game there a sponge ball was soaked in water and u had to put it at ur pits and in btw ur knees and transport it to another pail before "squeese-ing" the water out.

once it had reached a certain height, the whole grp had to roll on the field ~trust me it's not nice dry or wet~

then there's the caterpillar ... where all members have to alternate btw the opp sexes and sit on the ground with e legs bent and placed in btw the front's persons tights ... ~damn uncomfortable and awkard too~all have to be properly "connected" before u can proceed ~in the caterpillar form~ to the next station ...

yeah ... it's not over yet ... there's worse to come ...

at the next station one member must volunteer themself to be covered in ~foam~ where to get it? Simple ... all the other members must wet their hair and shampoo them ... now u know where to get the foam :) guys and girls alike ... all must ... i jus pity those with contact lenses and e girls with super long hair and of course not forgetting e guy who was covered in foam from head to toe :)

at the second last station all must ~in their wet and soapy state~ do 5 turns around a stick, run to use ur mouth n get beans in a plate of flour, keep it in ur mouth and do 5 jumping jets b4 spitting it out onto a plate ... if it drops from ur mouth u must use ur mouth and pick it up ... GROSS ! @#$%@#%@^@$#@# yah ... tell me bout it dude ...

YAY ! finally it was at the last and final station ! ~that's what we thought too~ supposed to be like super slack and let u finish it one right ? NO LOR !

must run up a super long flight of steps and grab a bite of a watermelon before running down ... all members must have a go at it ... so imagine u r e last with all e other's soap, flour and saliva u take a bite ... alamak ... JC pple ... u must really hand it to them for comming up with so many ideas to torture us ...

BUT ! even though it was tough ! ~no doubts~ we did it as a grp ... strong and united as 1! So guess what ?!? WE WON FIRST PLACE ! MY IG 32 ! MINE ! MY IG 32 ! U GO PEEPS ! 32 32 32 ALL THE WAY !

Day 4

we went for Dragon Boating ! super fun la ... but lotsa pple got a slight sunburn ... including me :x

yeah ... we did not win e 1 minute race la =.= but we all tried out best la ... and it's damn hard la not at all easy lor ... my muscles shi aching de lor ...

but i must still make special mention of the bus drivers ... cuz of e crazy splashing we were all ~soaking~ wet ! but when we boarded the bus and plonked our ~salty and wet~ asses onto their dry and cushy cushioned bus seats ... oh my ... must reall hand it to them for not even making any complains ! we all felt bad la but damn tired liao so just sit on it la :x our bad :p

oh yeah ... cuz i signed up for Chinese Cultural Society ... i had to go for my first meeting today :)

but it turned out to be drama rehearsals ??? and on the day itself i was given a chinese script that i have never seen b4 and i had to rehearse it with pple that i have not seen nor met b4 and i was supposed to not be nervous and had to completely protray the accurate emotions of the character ???

Geez ... and the worse thing is that almost the whole club is filled from people from China ? OMG ??? their chinese is like so damn perfect ? and have u seen the script ? i stumbled upon so many words that i dunno how to read la ... and i am in JC1 liao la ... for goodness sake ! i looked like a fool next to them ?!?

Yeah they were supper supportive of me la but still it was inevitable that i would read some words wrongly ... i knew it sounded wrong but i had to contine cuz everyone in the room was watching ? they tried their best not to laugh at me la but how can u not snigger under those circumstances? i would oso laugh la ... alamak ... i felt damn dumb ...

but the teacher said that my diction was perfect ok .. dun play play hor ... but she say i must brush up on my chinese ... oh ... she oso say that my emotions came very naturally hor ...

yeah i understood that drama would be a part of the club activities la ... but this year is a Singapore Youth Festival year so they will be starting to rehearse from now all the way to much later so i ... so i ... cannot make it and cannot take it la and i decided to tell the teacher ASAP and told her that i was not so keen on the idea of chinese drama and i would not be coming back for more ... Short and sweet ... but she told me that if i do change my mind she will still take me in:)

let me mention that i first joined it cuz at the end of the year the whole club will go on a super heavily subdised trip to China ! i really wanna go ... i mean i can go myself with a tour grp la ... but if u go with a school u get to do fun stuff not e usual sightseeing u know ? sigh ...

guess i shall stick to my dance then :)

oh yeah i just bought my school uni too :)

Day 5

Today we only got time from 7.35 - 9.30 am to be our origional orientation group :( cuz by 9.30 we will be notified of our new classes and then we will have to split up to join our classes ...

for the record i am in group 1T10 ... and i am taking H2 : Maths, Econs, Lit and H1 : Geo and the 3 complusory subjects like GP, MT and Project Work :)

and i realised that in the arts stream there are very little guys la !!! can u believe it in my class there are only like what ... 4 guys ??? and that's after including myself !!! ~my class got 24 pple in total~ wah ... tell me bout it man ...

got to know where our class was ~C4 04~ and our new ~form teacher~ aka Home Tutor as they call it ... then we did icebreakers in school before going to Hortpark as a class ... we have to solve the mystery of how Hercules died ... apparently there are 3 suspects and 2 witnesses ... so u have to do some tasks before the character will give u clues ...

it was super hot in the afternoon but then suddenly it rained so we had to stop all the games and gather in the shelter ... but we can be considered quite lucky cuz that bonded us even more :) when we were waiting we jus started talking and getting to know each other and played more icebreakers :)

And since cuz of the O levels in 2008 I have been leading a - NO LIFE - and my social circle has been dwindling so rapidly - it's shrinking faster than u can say Timbukto - so when the opportunity came by to shop ... i guess it's *explain-able* that my inner shopping demon was unleashed ??? No ??? Yes ???

Those that are grumpy, and these who are grateful.

I believe that life's inevitable disappointments, broken hearts and lost dreams will, if you allow them, make you bitter, resentful and angry. Somewhere in our life's journey we choose to focus on the garbage or the gold.

If you dwell on the garbage we become grumpy. If we look at the gold we become grateful.

Life is crap. Life is beautiful. Life is both. The question is, which will you focus on?

At some point, conscious or not, you will choose the experiences of life to make you bitter or better, grumpy or grateful, snappy or happy!

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.

It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another.

That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature.

The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.

As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.'

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.

'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.' Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times.

The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. 'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.' All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.'

Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.''I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary'

Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists'

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.

So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

A rich businessman had a beautiful daughter,who fell in love with a guywho was a cleaner.

When the girl's father came to know about their love,he did not likeit at all, and so began to protest about it.

Now it happened that the two lovers decided to leave their homes fora happy future.

The girl's father started searching for the two loversbut could not find them.

At last, he accepted their love and asked them to come back home ina local newspaper.

Her father said 'If you both come back I will allowyou to marry. I accept that you love each other truly.'So in this way, their love won and they returned home.

The couple went to town to shop for the wedding dress.

He was dressed in a white shirt that day. While he was crossing the road to theother side to get some drinks for his fiancee, a car came and hithim and he died on the spot.

The girl lost her senses. It was only aftersome time that she recovered from her shocked.

The funeral andcremation was the very next day as he had died horribly.

Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream in which she saw anold lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash the blood stains ofthe guy from her daughter's dress as soon as possible.

But hermother ignored the dream.

The next night her father had the same dream, he also ignored it.

Then when the girl had the same dream the next night,she woke up in fear and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked her towash the clothes which have blood stains immediately.

She washed the stains but some remained.

Next night she again hadthe same dream she again washed the stains but some still remained.

Next night she again had the same dream and this time the old lady gave her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or else somethingterrible will happen.

This time the girl tried her best to wash thestains, and the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still remained.

She was very tired.

In the late evening the same day while she was alone at home,someone knocked the door.

When she opened the door she saw the same oldlady in her dream standing at her door.

She got very scared and fainted.

The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue object, which shocked the girl.

She asked 'What is this...?'

The old lady replied...'Try DYNAMO Liquid Soap... just a dab and it will remove allstubborn stains!!!’

In the Tiger Skytower

o there's me ... heh-heh

Hmmm... I must admit that i never once found the allure of my national tourist attraction attractive enough ... Sentosa ? nah ...

So i must say i was plesantly suprised when i had to pay it a visit when my relative from overseas came to visit us ...

Erm ... i think for an adult visit it costs bout S$30++ ? anyways ... for that price u get to take part in some stuff la ... so we went for 5 ...

1. Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom
2. The Merlion and Merlion Walk
3. Sentosa Luge and Sky Ride
4. Tiger Skytower
5. -cannot remember paiseh-

overall i would rate the whole experience at Sentosa ... Relaxing ? Engaging ? not so much "Enchanting" la ...

Haz it was not so fantastic until it managed to fully immerse me in it's activities ? it didn't really captivate me oso ... but i would recommend it as a place to go to if u want to catch up with ur friend and have some fun at the same time ... ----cos got e beach if u jus wanna kill time :)

Southern Bridge ...

Jus thought i should update u on what i have been doing during the hols :)

I went to check out the Southern Bridge in S'pore ...

erm ... when it was opened to e public there was a HUGE commotion about it being ... a long bridge =.= so we decided to check it out ...

Yup ... we went in the night ... for a couple of reasons ...

1. it's cooler at night ? - ain't it obvious enough ? -
2. there's one part of the bridge that lights up only after 7 pm
3. my parents work till e evening la ...

so there u go ...
